GOT U is an on-demand service marketplace that connects people who need everyday local help with independent, verified helpers in their community.
What GOT U does
People post a task, an eligible nearby helper accepts it, and payment is handled securely through the GOT U platform. Helpers are independent contractors who complete identity verification before working.

Small repairs and handy tasks around the home.

An extra set of hands for errands and everyday tasks.

Moving items and hauling with a vetted driver.
GOT U Service Updates
GOT U Service Updates is a first-party, transactional text-messaging program operated solely by GOT U. It is used when someone arranges a GOT U service for another person. The actual service recipient personally opts in on the GOT U consent form before receiving any GOT U text messages — the person who booked the service cannot consent on their behalf.
Messages may include:
- an opt-in confirmation
- assigned-helper information
- arrival or service-status information
- changes to the assigned helper
GOT U does not use this program for marketing or promotional messages.
Message frequency varies, typically 1–3 messages per service. Message and data rates may apply.
